A quieter kind of screen-time tool

You opened a feed.
You didn’t mean
to lose an hour.

Redline makes the time visible. One budget across your feeds. A red tint that grows as you scroll. A small reminder that your next choice is yours.

A line you draw yourself

Less autopilot.
More intention.

No locked feeds. No streak to maintain. Just enough friction to notice where your attention goes.

01 / SET YOUR LINE

Choose what feels fair.

Set one daily allowance across your feeds. Switching from X to Reddit doesn’t reset it. Only visible time in the focused browser tab counts.

02 / SEE THE SIGNAL

Your feed turns red.

The tint builds as you use your budget. Your feed stays usable. An optional opening tax makes “just a quick look” a more deliberate choice.

03 / MAKE A CHOICE

Keep scrolling. Or go make.

Confirmed original posts on X can earn minutes back. Your budget resets at local midnight. Tomorrow is a fresh start.

Your attention isn’t our data

Your usage stays
in your browser.

We don’t collect your scrolling totals. No analytics. No ads. No browsing-history uploads.

↳

Local by design

Settings and usage totals are stored on your device. Keep up to 35 days of history, turn history off, or delete it whenever you want.

↳

Sharing is your choice

Copy a weekly social-feed snapshot for a friend. No public profile. Additional-site time never appears in partner links.

↳

Clear about payments

ExtensionPay and Stripe handle payment and license records. Usage totals aren’t sent to them. Website hosting receives ordinary request metadata.

Beyond the usual feeds

Your rabbit holes.
Your rules.

The seven social sites work out of the box. Add other public HTTPS domains in settings and grant permission only to those sites. They share one private usage total.

Optional 18+ website group

An editable starter list, off by default. Enable it deliberately in settings, or add a missing domain yourself. Redline tracks time; it doesn’t inspect images, classify page content, or promise to find every adult site.

A few fair questions

Before you install.

Will it block a site when I run out of time?

No. The tint gets stronger, but you can still use the page. Redline gives you a cue to make a choice.

Does it track background tabs or other devices?

Only a visible, focused tab in this browser profile counts. Totals aren’t synced across profiles, browsers, or phones. Private browsing follows your browser’s extension settings.

How do creation refunds work?

Redline checks for a confirmed original X post using an English success notification. Replies and reposts don’t qualify. Refunds are configurable, limited to five per day, and capped at time already used. Changes to X can affect detection.

Can I cover every adult website automatically?

No fixed list is complete. The optional 18+ preset is a starting point. Add the domains you want to track; no remote classification service receives your visits.

What happens when the free preview ends?

You can still view your usage and settings. A paid license enables the tint and partner sharing again. Purchases can be restored in settings; uninstalling doesn’t cancel a subscription.

You have other things to do.

Give your attention
a place to come back to.
